The meeting started at 2:25 pm with an opening prayer by Barr. Joanne Egboh who also hosted the zoom meeting welcomed everyone and members introduced themselves. She gave a brief and concise history of ECOWAS/FEBWE and mentioned some objectives of the organization and read the minutes of the last meeting which was adopted by Mrs. Ifeoma Aigbe and seconded by Mrs Olubunmi Olalekan.

The National Coordinator, Ms Omotola Omole welcomed both old and new members and reiterated the importance of the organization and how it helps to promote businesses. She further stated the need for women to come together to grow their businesses achieving greater heights by sharing information with one another without fear and seeing how best we can help one another grow.

She talked about future plans of the organisation where there will be cooperatives to assist businesses and the need to put structures in place so as to attract opportunities from govt in Nigeria and other ECOWAS countries.

Mrs. Ifeoma Aigbe also opined on the need for women to help each other as entrepreneurs to grow our businesses.

Iyalode Alaba Lawson MFR the President of ECOWAS/FEBWE Nigeria was unable to attend the meeting due to unforeseen circumstances but her message to all members was sent in and read to all by Barr. Joanne Egboh.
