In March 2023, a delegation of Nigerian entrepreneurs from the ECOWAS-FEBWE (Economic Community of West African States – Female Entrepreneurs Business Workshop and Exhibition) embarked on a significant journey to Nairobi, Kenya’s capital. Their mission was to showcase their products during an ongoing trade mission and business development tour in the country. This event, which took place against the backdrop of the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), with the theme “Unlocking the AfCFTA Opportunity and Youths: Leveraging Regional Value Chain Opportunities and Business Linkages,” marked a pivotal moment in the journey towards intra-African trade. Notably, the positive reception of their products laid the foundation for a revolutionary step forward.
